This was an actual paraphrased of a conversation I had with one of my friends when I was going through a job transition in 2013. A year later in 2014, my favorite daughter, the one that eats organically Clean, exercise daily, whether it’s yoga, weight training, cycling, barre, or whatever, gave me a Fitbit Charge™ for Christmas. Initially, I thought another pedometer exactly what I needed. I’ll keep it next to the ties from years past. Man, I was so wrong! I’ve practically worn it every day since I got it!! A GREAT gift that keeps on GIVING!
All in all, Fitbit has made tracking my physical activity painless. When I’ve fallen off the nutrition wagon I still use MyFitnessPal integrated with Fitbit to get back on track. My family and friends make sure I stay motivated to keep active in the form of Fitbit challenges. So for me, using FitBit as a tool to help manage my diabetes is an easy, sweet, cool thing to do.
